• Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Provides cost and resource estimates and supports production scheduling and new product requests.
• Collaborates with planning, design engineering, quality, and purchasing to solve manufacturing problems.

Vision Statement: Helping the world serve better.Mission Statement: (We Aim) To build the best bar in the world and be irreplaceable by delivering the Total Perlick Experience.Perlick Values: Lead By Serving – others before self, Grow by Innovation – solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations, Continuous Improvement – strive to get better every day, Live the Legacy – maintain our positive reputations with the future in mindSUMMARY: Under the direction of the Area Manager, the Associate Manufacturing Engineer, will work with all facets of the organization to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations on Perlick’s manufacturing floor.PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Evaluates current manufacturing and implements improvements by designing, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, materials, conferring with equipment vendors, and soliciting input from operatorsAssures product and in-process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished product and process capabilities, and establishing standards for productionAssist CNC Programming to accelerate implementation of equipment and drive automation ecosystemImproves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layoutResearch, propose, and assist in implementing continuous improvement modifications of existing processes or equipmentProvides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs, reviewing production schedules, and estimating future requirements for both current production and New ProductsCollaborates with production planning and supervisors to ensure that units are completed per the production scheduleAssists other departments such Accounting, Design Engineering, Quality and Purchasing to solve manufacturing and production problemsProvides work leadership and trainingReview routings for content and correctness, making corrections or updates as appropriateOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:2-year degree in a related field, or 2-4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferredDemonstrated experience in Process Analysis and Implementing changes and creating documentationStrong knowledge of Sheet Metal fabricating equipment including lasers, turret punch presses, hydraulic brakes, welding, and assemblyProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareProficiency in Solidworks and AutoCAD a plusMachine/PLC Programming Languages (Mazatrol, G code) a plusReading and interpretation drawings/blueprints, including geometric and close tolerancesHands on experience with electronic and mechanical inspection equipment: dial calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, height stands, gage blocks and pin gages, thread gages, etc.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of World Class Manufacturing and Lean Manufacturing principlesBasic knowledge of Project Management principles and their application is a plusAdvanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) experience a plusCORE COMPETENCIES:Exhibits core cultural behaviors that reflect Perlick’s values to support our mission and vision.Being Resilient: Demonstrates composure and professionalism under difficult circumstances.
