Curtiss-Wright Scientech is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Idaho Falls, onsite. You will own engineering drawings, BOMs, and work order routing and develop manufacturing techniques for electrical and mechanical assembly.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in a highly engineered environment, strong AutoCAD skills, and IPC standards knowledge. US person is required due to site access and security requirements.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a custom, make-to-order, highly engineered product manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD or similar program.
• Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-610, J-STD / IPC-7711/7721).
• Working knowledge across manufacturing disciplines, with emphasis on electrical and bench-top mechanical assembly.

Responsabilidades

• Transfer and own engineering drawing and product requirements in ERP system including standard hour estimates.
• Develop manufacturing techniques including tooling, fixturing, and processes for electrical and mechanical assembly.
• Provide technical support to assembly and repair personnel.
• Review non-conformance reports and coordinate resolution with QA and operations.
• Contribute to cost estimates and assess technical requirements for new proposals.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to product design and manufacturing.
• Develop standard work instructions, processes and procedures.
• Support by researching obsolete components and determining replacements.
