Job description

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full‑time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing‑approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Position Overview

We are looking for Experienced Manufacturing Engineers with expertise in airplane subsystems, production readiness, and composite fabrication. In this role you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient production of our world‑class aerospace products, including advanced platforms for our Fighter Jet programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for airplane subsystems.
  • Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Support operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.
  • Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly considerations.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. These positions are for both 1st and 2nd shift; candidates must be open to both shifts and will be assigned one or the other at the time of offer.

Basic Qualifications (Required)
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited engineering or related program (or equivalent experience).
  • Level 3: 5+ years work‑related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years with a Master’s degree, or PhD, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers.
  • Experience with 3‑D model‑based instruction.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
  • B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Composite fabrication experience.
  • Experience with IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA, VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3‑D printed parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, Multi‑Monitor Collaborative Rooms.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci).
Pay Rate Range

Min Pay Rate $57 per hour

Max Pay Rate $62 per hour
