About the role:

As a Manufacturing Engineer working 2nd or 3rd shift, you will provide off-shift engineering support for quality and equipment troubleshooting in critical plant processes.

You will report to the Lead Engineer and be based at Blairsville, PA, supporting this role 100% onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate off-shift maintenance for equipment breakdowns.
• Provide updates on tasks/projects to all relevant partners.
• Develop and deliver presentations on statuses, problem resolutions, and recommendations.
• Apply engineering design and analysis for nuclear products/projects, including mechanical component design and understanding mechanical drawings.
• Evaluate necessary equipment and systems to meet goals.
• Develop new processes and improve existing ones.
• Monitor and address quality issues related to manufacturing processes.
• Analyze designs and implement cost-effective manufacturing improvements.
• Identify manufacturing sources and collaborate with Purchasing to develop new sources.
• Apply modern engineering principles such as lean manufacturing, six-sigma, and statistical process analysis to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Recommend technological innovations in machinery and manufacturing techniques to solve complex problems.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical field.
• At least 3 years of applicable manufacturing experience.
