# **Job Description****Summer 2027 Internship****Duration:** Monday, May 17th- August 20th, 2027**Location:** Chaska, MN**What You Can Expect:*** **Meaningful Project Work**: Every Intern is assigned a project that delivers value to the business.* **Lean Thinking:** Interns are expected to apply Lean principles and continuous improvement thinking throughout their project work; Lean training and resources will be provided.* **Our Goal** is to provide interns with meaningful, hands-on experiences that contribute to business objectives while supporting their professional development**Position Summary:**During your internship, you’ll be a member of a small manufacturing engineering team working to develop new processes, improve existing processes, and optimize the manufacturing process of semiconductor capital equipment.This internship is payrolled via payroll process provider.**Responsibilities:*** Problem-solving efforts and coordination of quality notifications from production floor and customers* Partnering with production and field service on assigned projects* Documentation and release of production processes**Qualifications:*** Pursuing BS or MS degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related degree* Demonstrated “hands on” mechanical and troubleshooting ability* Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship* Ability to work in a Class I semiconductor clean room**Physical Requirements:**Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds is required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing.
