Responsibilities
- Liaise with supervisor and executive management to develop, organize and schedule office/lab expansions, procurement of new locations and other similar activities.
- Attend on site to inspect potential new premises, meet with building owners/landlords, evaluate buildings against needs and present detailed reports to management.
- Work with contractors/developers to ensure understanding of scope of work and company needs and expectations.
- Provide detailed status reports to management including projected timelines, difficulties encountered, budget overruns or any other similar issues.
- Schedule department employees to ensure job expectations are met/exceeded.
- Manage and oversee warehouse operations and staff.
- Other similar related activities required by operational needs or assigned by supervisor.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related area.
- 5+ years of experience in industry.
- 2+ years in similar field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong math and analytical/estimating skills.
- Considerable knowledge of buildings and general construction practices.
- Understanding of state and federal requirements and regulations.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Working Conditions
Mainly field and remote locations with some office work, frequent travel required, frequent non-traditional working hours anticipated.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, ability to work under high stress circumstances, available for work during non-traditional hours.
