Job summary

Cook Medical in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Manufacturing Process Improvement Specialist to support Operations with efficiency, line layout, and continuous improvement projects, while ensuring safety and quality.

You will refine documentation, train staff, and participate in CAPA investigations, Lean initiatives (6S, daily accountability), and cross-functional collaboration.

Requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 3+ years manufacturing experience, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio.

Job description

Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical support to the Operations Team in the areas of efficiency, production line layout/flow, continuous improvement projects and support of day to day manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities
  • Refine and update existing documentation.
  • Assist with training and technical support of Operations personnel
  • Assist with CAPA investigations and Corrective Actions
  • Support Lean initiatives such as 6S, Daily Accountability process
  • Support/lead continuous improvement projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
  • Must strictly adhere to safety requirements

  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills

Qualifications
