Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Camden, Arkansas is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer on First Shift for the PAC-3 program. You will help design and improve manufacturing processes, provide engineering support to the production floor, and drive cost-effective, reliable production.

Responsibilities include developing tooling and equipment designs from specifications, documenting them in data packages, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Aerospace, or related discipline.
  • Basic hand tools and GD&T knowledge.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, CREO, SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
  • Ability to problem solve and work in teams.

You will be a Manufacturing Engineer on First Shift for our PAC-3 program. Our team is responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes to make production more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective, and providing engineering support to the production floor.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for developing tooling and equipment designs, supporting the production floor, and driving process improvements.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling / equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item.
  • Design / documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Creo / Solid Works.
  • Provide engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day to day integration processes by analyzing and using problem solving skills in a team environment in accordance with production rate requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Developing and implementing new manufacturing processes and systems.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Aerospace, or other related discipline from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Entry level understanding of basic hand tools and basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Demonstrated ability for basic problem solving.
  • Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, CREO, SolidWorks, or similar modeling software.
  • Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems/equipment/tools used in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of machine / tooling mechanical design.
  • Knowledge of general manufacturing / integration processes.
  • Knowledge of engineering materials and methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and solve complex issues.
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $63400.00 - $117800.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
