Job summary

Precision Tube Company seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead process optimization and innovation in our production facility. This role combines hands‑on engineering with leadership in continuous improvement, collaborating across departments to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality operations that raise product performance.

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will drive projects, coach cross‑functional teams, and champion Lean and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment with mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, robotics; PLCs, sensors, motor controls, HMIs).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues affecting production equipment, automation systems, and tooling.
• Lead process improvement and product enhancement projects with measurable results.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to cross-functional teams.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to support production goals.
• Perform project work and other related duties as assigned.
