About the Role:

The Manufacturing Engineer plays a critical role in optimizing and enhancing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This position focuses on designing, implementing, and refining manufacturing systems, including CNC programming and machining operations, to support new product introductions and ongoing production demands. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop process layouts, improve injection molding techniques, and apply statistical process control methods to maintain consistent product standards. By leveraging technical expertise and innovative problem‑solving skills, the Manufacturing Engineer will drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce costs, increase throughput, and minimize waste. Ultimately, this role ensures that manufacturing operations align with business goals and customer requirements while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with CNC programming and operation in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including machining and injection molding.
  • Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with new product introduction (NPI) processes in a manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and manufacturing simulation tools.
  • Certification in Six Sigma or similar quality improvement programs.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment such as aerospace or medical devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production data and implementing lean manufacturing principles.
