Job summary

Synstack Technologies in Winston-Salem, NC seeks an experienced engineer to design, develop, and qualify fixtures and gauges for turbine components, leveraging Siemens NX to build 2D/3D models and precise drawings.

You will create MQCP, PPQ, CTQ and machining setup drawings, collaborate with production to ensure performance, and lead fixture projects through conception, qualification, and production support, driving cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires 2–4 year degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering, or 4+ years relevant experience.
• Interpretation of product and manufacturing drawings and specifications.
• Expert knowledge in Siemens NX CAD/Drafting and product data management systems.
• Expert Knowledge of GD&T.
• Expert Knowledge in parametric model definition tools of NX and inter-part linking assembly modeling.
• Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter.
• Good knowledge manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Work with production personnel to implement, troubleshoot, and improve fixtures and their associated processes.
• Engage in fixture optimization projects to achieve cost savings.

What You Will Bring:

• 2–4-year degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering or 4+ years relevant and proven manufacturing technician/engineering experience.
