Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer will drive continuous improvement efforts in production processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency. This role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to make strategic decisions on new equipment, tooling, and fixturing to optimize manufacturing capabilities.

Principal Duties
  • Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Identify opportunities for waste minimization and implement lean manufacturing principles.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to develop and introduce new equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Establish and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Lead and participate in cross‑functional teams to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Support capital project planning and execution for manufacturing equipment upgrades.
  • Train production staff on new processes and equipment to ensure seamless adoption.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3‑5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of process improvement techniques and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Hands‑on experience with equipment selection, tooling, and fixture design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or AutoCAD preferred).
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ANSI, ISO, or ASME is a plus.
