Job summary

TAT Technologies’ Tulsa Site serves as the Center of Excellence for heat transfer manufacturing, MRO and OEM solutions, supporting commercial, regional, and military aircraft worldwide.

We seek a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to provide engineering expertise across OEM and MRO operations, collaborate across engineering, operations and quality teams, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field or equivalent engineering experience (5+ years).
  • U.S. citizenship or Green Card required.
  • Minimum 3 years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment in an engineering role.
  • Experience driving year-over-year cost savings with CI tools preferred.
  • Experience with welding/vacuum brazing/torch brazing of metals, chemical cleaning of metals, heat treatment, machining preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering technical support to OEM, Military, Commercial and Repair Station divisions on a day-to-day basis.
  • Modify and create work instructions and BOM updates in ERP systems.
  • Support manufacturing with corrective actions for non-conformances and root-cause problem solving.
  • Engage in design for manufacturing reviews, prototyping, testing, and day-to-day production support for continuous improvement.
  • Apply science and statistics to improve processes, reduce costs, and develop new products.”
  • Interact with internal/external customers, vendors, and suppliers for solutions.
  • Manage Engineering Change Requests and validate changes with data.

TAT Technologies' Tulsa Site serves as the company's Center of Excellence for heat transfer manufacturing, MRO, and OEM solutions. Supporting commercial, regional, and military aircraft worldwide, the site delivers advanced thermal management solutions that enhance aircraft performance, improve reliability, and ensure operational and mission readiness.

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support our Tulsa Site by providing technical engineering expertise across MRO and OEM operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and collaborates effectively across engineering, operations, and quality teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering technical support to OEM, Military, Commercial and Repair Station divisions on a day to do basis for Engineering related issues.
  • Experience in ERP systems to modify and create work instructions and BOM updates.
  • Support manufacturing with corrective actions for non-conformances and troubleshooting assembly/testing issue with Failure/Root Cause Analysis.
  • Engineering support through all phases including - design for manufacturing reviews, prototyping, testing, day to day production support to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Apply fundamental principles of science, engineering and statistics to improve processes, resolve quality issues, reduce costs and develop new products/processes.
  • Interact with internal and external customers, vendors, and suppliers for identifying solutions or developing new processes.
  • Process technically sound change management process with ECR’s (Engineering Change Request) and validation of changes with analytical tools and data.
  • Apply information from technical manuals, engineering drawings and documents to research and resolve problems.
  • Create work instructions and test procedures from design and/or Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) specifications.
  • Interpreting Specifications (FAA and Industry Standards). Evaluate Testing for compliance with specifications and equivalency of Materials and Processes.
  • Manage multiple projects and initiatives at the same time and be able to manage priorities with good Projec Management skillset.
  • Other responsibilities as directed by the Engineering Leader.
  • Bachelor of Science Engineering or related field. In Lieu of bachelor’s degree an Equivalent Engineering experience (5+ Years) will also be considered.
  • U.S. citizenship or Green Card is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment in anEngineering role.
  • Experience in driving year over year cost savings with CI tool preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing processes like Welding / Vacuum Brazing / Torch Brazing of Metals/ Chemical Cleaning of Metals/ Heat Treatment of Metals/ Machining etc. preferred.
  • Prior experience with an AS9100/9110 environment is a plus.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Certification preferred.
