Job summary

Danfoss GmbH in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive standardized service, repair, remanufacturing, and testing processes across Danfoss Turbocor service centers worldwide.

You will partner with global teams to improve throughput, quality, and efficiency, support new service offerings and product upgrades, and lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • PFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D, process capability, and corrective action methodologies are required.
  • Experience with ERP systems, SAP and SIT integrations is highly preferred.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders globally.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead the development and deployment of standardized service, repair, remanufacturing, and testing processes across Danfoss Turbocor Service
  • Centers and authorized service partners worldwide.
  • Drive the successful launch of new service offerings, repair programs, product upgrades, and firmware/software updates by defining processes, validating methods, and supporting implementation.
  • Improve key business metrics such as turnaround time (TAT), first-pass yield, warranty performance, and RMA cycle time through data-driven process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Partner with global teams to establish service KPIs, process controls, tooling standards, and technician training programs that enable consistent service quality and performance.
  • Conduct process audits, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective and preventive actions to support compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.
  • Support global service center growth through capacity planning, test stand harmonization, equipment optimization, and standardized tooling strategies.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, and at least 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, service engineering, aftermarket operations, or a related engineering environment.
  • Proven experience developing and standardizing service, repair, remanufacturing, or manufacturing processes across multiple sites or locations.
  • Experience supporting new product introductions (NPI), new service introductions, process validation, and production or service launches.
  • Strong knowledge of quality and continuous improvement tools, including PFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D, process capability, and corrective action methodologies.
  • Experience working with ERP and operational systems, with highly preferred expertise integrating equipment and processes with SAP and SIT systems.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders in a global environment.
