Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Sheridan, AR site to lead New Product Development efforts. You will coordinate across engineering, quality, production, and materials to meet launch targets, applying DFMA and FMEA to improve reliability and ensure smooth launches.

The role involves building product cost models, performing Make vs. Buy analyses, and implementing PFEP and supply chain controls to hit inventory dates.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Engineering Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years in manufacturing/NPD
• Strong cost modeling and DFMA skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as the plant operations project manager for New Product Development (NPD/NPI), coordinating engineering, quality, production, and materials teams to hit launch targets.
• Drive manufacturing inputs into early NPD designs using DFMA, design reviews, and FMEA to improve product reliability and ensure error-free launches.
• Build comprehensive product cost models and conduct Make vs. Buy analyses using cash cost modeling, capacity evaluations, and asset optimization.
• Implement PFEP, cost reduction strategies, and supply chain integrity protocols to meet scheduled 'Inventory in Stock' dates.
• Act as a change agent by applying engineering fundamentals to refine manufacturing processes, project management practices, and time-to-market workflows.

Location: Sheridan, Arkansas

Job type: Contract

Salary: $20.74 - 33.87 per hour

Work hours: 8am to 5pm

Education: Bachelors
