Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. is assisting a Sanford, ME client to fill a Manufacturing Engineer role on site. You will coordinate process improvements, install equipment, and document processes to boost efficiency and production reliability.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering, has Lean and 5S experience, and can lead projects, perform time studies, estimate costs, and train staff across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (ideally mechanical or industrial/manufacturing)
• Experience leading projects to improve manufacturing performance, reduce costs, improve yields or reduce cycle time
• Experience with Lean tools
• Able to work on continuous improvement projects utilizing 5S
• Help with estimates on production setup and run times, material costs and perform time studies for cost analysis
• Assist in designing testing methods to determine process capabilities, standards and process requirements
• Able to communicate well, train employees and work with different departments
• Experience in a manufacturing environment - metal forming, welding, assembly

Job description

I have a client located in the Sanford, ME area that has an opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in discussing this role.

In this role, you will be working as a Manufacturing Engineer for a client that works in the manufacturing industry. This position will be responsible for coordinating process improvements, machine installation and guidance with process documentation.

This position is a direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked onsite.

Pay; $70,000-$80,000/Yr. depending on experience
