Van-Am Tool & Engineering, a Missouri-based manufacturer, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to join onsite in St. Joseph.

You will develop and optimize manufacturing methods for aerospace and defense products, collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams, and help ensure manufacturability. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, tooling design, review of drawings, and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with aerospace and/or defense manufacturing is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement tools.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
