Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience applying Manufacturing Engineering principles (DFX, FMEA).
  • Proficient in hardware failure root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical quality issues.
  • Strong process-improvement mindset for agile manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Apply DFX principles to transition autonomous robotic solutions from design to production.
  • Develop and qualify suppliers while managing lifecycle changes across global supply chains.
  • Lead cross-functional quality-improvement projects and drive root-cause analysis for defects.
  • Design and develop manufacturing test solutions for consumer electronics and robotics systems.
  • Implement scalable manufacturing systems for gearbox assembly, stator winding, rotor manufacturing, and motor integration.
  • Collaborate with global design teams to influence manufacturability at scale.

Job description

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, computer science, or a related engineering field.
  • 5+ years of experience performing Manufacturing Engineering principles such as, DFX, and FMEA in new product introduction.
  • Proficient in hardware failure root cause analysis and leading corrective and preventive actions.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical quality issues.
  • Strong process improvement mindset for agile environments with a passion for manufacturing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in highly ambiguous environments and make informed decisions in real-time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical expertise in mechanical and electrical components common in robotics (e.g., robotic arms, control panels, cables, motors, PCBAs, metal fabrication, gears/bearings, sensors, vision systems).
  • Multi-industry and/or consulting experience in applicable industries (Automotive, Aerospace, Medical Device, Consumer Electronics, etc.). Startup experience is a plus.
  • Experience with statistical data analysis.
