GE Vernova is seeking an on-site Manufacturing Engineer in the United States with a BS in Engineering and 3+ years of experience to oversee production processes and ensure quality. The role involves supervising line operations, coordinating tooling and equipment, and maintaining safety and compliance on the shop floor.

The candidate will work closely with operators and supervisors, apply standard procedures, and collaborate with teams to resolve issues and improve throughput.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define and control production process including tooling and equipment. Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
• Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
• Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
• Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GEV. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
• Supervises and oversees daily manufacturing line operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
• Provides guidance and direction to production operators and technicians on the shop floor.
• Monitors workflow, identifies bottlenecks, and implements corrective actions to maintain efficiency and continuity of operations.
• Ensures adherence to standard work instructions, company policies, and regulatory compliance.
• Supports team development by coaching, training, and evaluating manufacturing personnel performance.

Required Qualifications

• Engineering bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 3 years of experience.

• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish language. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $68,500.00 and $102,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
