Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our production processes and bridge the gap between design and shop floor execution. You will mentor the next generation of engineers, drive operational efficiency, and balance rigorous process discipline with creative problem solving in a competitive global market.

You will oversee staffing, performance development, and cross-functional projects while applying deep technical knowledge to translate policy into actionable strategy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college; or a HS diploma/GED with 6+ years in high-complexity manufacturing.
  • Solid analytical ability with a track record of resolving complex manufacturing challenges.
  • People-first leadership with experience managing teams and coaching growth.
  • Strong communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven project management excellence and ability to plan, document, and execute programs.

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Process Ownership: Define, control, and optimize production processes, tooling, and equipment to meet high-precision standards.

  • Bridge the Gap: Validate design specifications and ensure seamless shop-floor implementation of new products and advanced manufacturing technologies.

  • Lead & Develop: Provide direct leadership to your team. You will be responsible for staffing, performance development, and creating an inclusive environment where your engineers can thrive.

  • Strategic Execution: Apply deep technical knowledge and analytical thinking to translate policy into actionable strategy.

  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Use your judgment to propose innovative solutions for complex manufacturing cycles. You’ll leverage data, internal expertise, and industry insights to make decisions that move the needle.

  • Mentor & Influence: Act as a technical resource, lead cross-functional projects, and guide team members toward consensus. You’ll be the bridge that ensures clear communication and high performance.


Desired Characteristics


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college; OR a high school diploma/GED with at least 6+ years of relevant experience in a high-complexity manufacturing environment.

  • Technical Acumen: Demonstrated analytical ability and a track record of resolving complex manufacturing challenges.

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,700.00 and $152,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.


Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
