Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Hands-on problem-solving with strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing systems and processes, focusing on productivity and efficiency.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Utilize SolidWorks to design and optimize processes and equipment.
• Identify bottlenecks and devise strategies to overcome them.
• Collaborate with design engineers to improve manufacturability.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
• Train and guide team members on new processes and equipment.
• Develop and implement process control techniques in manufacturing environments.
• Use Six Sigma methodologies to drive improvements and cost reductions.
• Ensure manufacturing safety policies and procedures are followed.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving our company's success by improving manufacturing processes and implementing lean manufacturing strategies. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, able to identify inefficiencies and propose practical solutions, and will be well-versed in SolidWorks. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and a commitment to continuous improvement. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of enhancing productivity and reducing costs through their engineering expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing systems and processes, focusing on enhancing productivity and efficiency.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and practices to reduce waste and increase operational efficiency.
• Utilize SolidWorks to design and optimize manufacturing processes and equipment.

• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Exceptional knowledge of manufacturing processes, product development, and process improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to tackling challenges.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to lead projects to successful completion.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.
