• Process Design & Optimization: Develop, test, and improve manufacturing processes, assembly workflows, and work instructions to increase productivity, reduce waste, and control costs.
• Equipment & Tooling: Identify, design, select, and implement equipment, tooling, and fixtures that support safe, efficient, and accurate production.
• Troubleshooting & Production Support: Resolve production bottlenecks and equipment issues while providing hands-on technical support to production employees.
• Quality Support: Partner with the Quality team to investigate quality concerns, determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with customer design engineers, Quality, and production teams to review specifications and improve manufacturability.

Manufacturing Engineer

Direct Hire | $75,000-$90,000 annually

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize production processes, equipment, and workflows. This position plays a key role in improving quality, increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and supporting custom cable and wire harness manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Design & Optimization: Develop, test, and improve manufacturing processes, assembly workflows, and work instructions to increase productivity, reduce waste, and control costs.
• Equipment & Tooling: Identify, design, select, and implement equipment, tooling, and fixtures that support safe, efficient, and accurate production.

Qualifications

• Relevant manufacturing engineering experience, preferably within custom cable or wire harness manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications
• Experience with manufacturing equipment, tooling, and process improvement
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
• Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on practical experience

No Degree? No Problem.

A degree is not required. Candidates with strong, hands-on manufacturing engineering experience will be considered, making this a great opportunity for experienced professionals who have developed their expertise directly on the manufacturing floor.

Pay Details

$75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per hour
