Job summary

Acculon is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve end-to-end battery module and pack assembly processes, ensuring safety, quality, and engineering intent are met. You will design workflows, document work instructions, and collaborate with Production, Quality, and Product Engineering to enable scalable manufacturing.

You will lead training on new processes, support equipment commissioning, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, cycle time, and downtime,

Qualifications

  • Develop and document end-to-end manufacturing processes for battery module and pack assembly.
  • Define process flow, work content, and sequencing to meet quality, throughput, and safety targets.
  • Train production staff on new or updated processes and SOPs.
  • Support commissioning and validation of production equipment and fixtures.
  • Identify and implement yield, cycle time, labor efficiency, and scrap/rework improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document end-to-end manufacturing processes for battery module and pack assembly.
  • Define process flow and sequencing to meet quality and throughput targets.
  • Train staff on new processes and updates to instructions.
  • Support equipment commissioning, validation, and upkeep.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the line and with NPI.

Role PurposeThe Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes assembly operations.
