Job summary

Recruiting Resources, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to support precision-machined metallic components on the shop floor.

You will develop manufacturing plans, create detailed work instructions, and support 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC operations to ensure throughput and quality. Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to improve efficiency, assess risks, prepare technical presentations for review boards, and ensure documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a precision machining environment.
• Experience supporting 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machining operations.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or other high-precision manufacturing industries preferred.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support for CNC machining operations involving metallic components.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop manufacturing plans, routers, process flows, and detailed work instructions.
• Define tooling, fixturing, workholding, and machining strategies.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness and documentation accuracy before job release.
• Support machinists and supervisors with technical guidance and process improvements.
• Prepare presentations and review technical data, drawings, models, inspection results, and risk assessments for Engineering Review Board meetings.
• Identify potential manufacturing risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Maintain revision control and ensure processes comply with approved engineering requirements.

Position Summary
