Job Summary

Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes in production.

What You'll Do

1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
2. Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow; design layout for efficiency.
3. Collaborate with design and planning teams to optimize product design and tooling.
4. Implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste.
5. Coordinate with vendors for product specifications, procurement, and quality evaluation.
6. Estimate production times, staffing, and costs for management decision-making.
7. Work with management and engineering teams to align manufacturing capabilities and schedules.
8. Apply statistical methods to forecast manufacturing needs.
9. Monitor and adjust labor standards in QAD to control labor variance.
10. Create and update process routings and work instructions in QAD.
11. Participate actively in daily manufacturing operations, including setup and troubleshooting of equipment.
12. Manage maintenance of manufacturing facilities and equipment, maintaining records and procedures.
13. Collaborate with QA to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
14. Support manufacturing leadership with technical needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing software (QAD, MS Office, AutoCAD).
• Electrical or mechanical engineering background, PCB and MRT knowledge, safety standards.
• Experience with electronic manufacturing processes, SMT, PCB assembly, and related equipment.
• Certification in IPC standards, familiarity with ERP systems, ESD, ISO 9001, TL 9000.
• Hands-on ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment.

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• At least 4 years of related experience.
