Job summary

Movement Search & Delivery seeks an experienced manufacturing/process engineer to help design, optimize and standardize machining operations. You will coordinate with Product Engineering to ensure traceability and data integrity, while leading part processing development and driving efficiency and quality improvements.

The role requires 10+ years in operations/process engineering, Lean manufacturing expertise, GD&T, and hands-on tooling design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of operations/process engineering in machining.
• Robot experience desirable.
• Experience in grinding, balancing, and drilling operations.
• Proficiency with PC apps (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• SolidWorks and AutoCAD drawing software knowledge.
• Familiarity with Dimensional Tolerancing and GD&T.
• Manufacturing tooling design experience.
• Lean Manufacturing understanding.
• Basic automation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Product Engineering to ensure traceability of products and data.
• Lead part processing development following standardized methods.
• Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods using design, materials, processes, tooling and quality standards.
• Assist Engineering & Manufacturing during new program launches.
• Apply innovative design techniques to improve processes.

Job description

Coordinates with Product Engineering to ensure all products are traceable with corresponding data. Leads part processing development following a standardized approach. Evaluates & improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, material, manufacturing processes, tooling, and quality control standards. Assist the Engineering & Manufacturing departments, when required, on new program launches.

Requirements
