Job summary

PVHardware is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop, implement, and optimize production processes in our steel manufacturing facility in Houston. You will focus on improving product quality, reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and ensuring safety and environmental standards are met.

You will analyze production data, support new product introductions, collaborate with maintenance, quality, and production teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean and Kaizen

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Production or Industrial Engineering (Preferred).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with understanding of production processes (Preferred).
  • Knowledge in SAP or other ERP systems is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize existing steel production processes in the factory (e.g., assemblies, stamping, roll forming).
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet output and quality targets.
  • Monitor process parameters to ensure compliance with product specifications and safety standards.
  • Support new product introductions and process changes.
  • Analyze production data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify root causes of process deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Design and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, 5S, and Kaizen.
  • Provide training and technical support to operations staff.
  • Collaborate with HSE, Quality, and Product Development teams.

PVHardware is a Manufacturing Process Engineer to be responsible for developing, implementing, supporting and optimizing production processes within our steel manufacturing facility. This will include improving product quality, reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Production or Industrial Engineering. (Preferred)
