Job summary

AGCO Corporation in Hesston, Kansas is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the production floor, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency. Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering with 2–4 years experience in manufacturing engineering or related field.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing concepts, floor layout, and workflow.

  • Proven ability to lead change and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the production floor to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency of operations.

Your Impact
  • Identify improvement opportunities and solutions. Lead special projects when assigned.
  • Perform work balance activities using time studies and/or other tools as needed.
  • Develop cost estimates of manufactured components/materials ensuring completeness, accuracy, and conformance with required delivery schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to facilitate teamwork.
  • Collaborate with other production groups and use MRP systems to plan and ensure timely production. Promote a safe work environment and enforce safety standards.
Your Experience And Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering and 2-4 years of experience, Technology discipline or related field or equivalent experience and skills
  • Basics understanding of Manufacturing Engineering concepts, floor layout, and workflow.
  • Team player who can work effectively in a fast paced, collaborative environment
  • Able to provide leadership for change and improvement
  • Excellent analytical/problem solving skills

This role follows AGCO's on-site work model, with employees primarily working from an AGCO location (Hesston, KS) for 5 days per week to support collaboration and teamwork.
