Job summary

AGCO Corporation in Jackson, Minnesota, is seeking a mechanical or agricultural engineer to join our design team. You will develop robust 3D CAD designs, create 2D drawings for manufacturing, and collaborate with simulation, powertrain, hydraulics, electrical, cab, and software teams to ensure designs meet requirements.

The role is on-site with a minimum of four days per week in-office. A bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in agricultural equipment design are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or agricultural engineering from an accredited university.
  • 3+ years of experience; agriculutral equipment design is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Creo Parametric for 3D CAD design is essential.
  • Knowledge of PLM systems and AGCO-specific engineering tools will be developed on the job.
  • Strong command of English (spoken, written, and reading) is required.

We collaborate extensively across the broader design engineering organization, including simulation, powertrain, hydraulics, electrical, cab, and software teams. Our work is tightly integrated with validation teams to ensure designs meet functional and durability standards. Downstream, we engage with manufacturing, quality, and marketing to ensure smooth product delivery and alignment with customer expectations.

Your Impact

Your Experience And Qualifications

Your Compensation

This position will pay within the range of $65k- $80k, based on experience. This position is eligible for a bonus based on 8% of the compensation.
