Top Echelon LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Ohio to lead new model start-ups and drive continuous improvement across assembly lines. You will implement automation, robotics, and AI-enabled solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure ISO compliance throughout manufacturing processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 4–7 years of manufacturing experience, plus strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

  • Assist Engineering, Automation, Robotics, and Manufacturing Technology projects.
  • Provide training to maintenance technicians on automated equipment, robotics systems, controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report equipment performance, robot utilization, and automation effectiveness; drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop new model assembly processes, incorporating automation and robotics where feasible.
  • Create specifications for equipment, robotic cells, fixtures, vision systems, and jigs for products.
  • Lead new model process development for complex products involving robotics and automation.
  • Create and manage project schedules; ensure accurate tracking throughout lifecycle.
  • Ensure smooth transition of new models from Engineering to Manufacturing.
  • Design, build, integrate, and commission machines, robotic cells, fixtures, and automation systems.
  • Review drawings to identify automation opportunities; develop cost estimates; improve manufacturability and quality.
  • Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, robot and motion control programs for equipment.
  • Create or modify engineering documentation and automation standards to ensure ISO compliance.
  • Evaluate emerging automation technologies and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Lead root cause analysis, problem solving, and machine efficiency improvements.
  • Generate schedules and implement corrective actions for projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on smart manufacturing solutions.
  • Support preventive maintenance and lifecycle management for robotics and control systems.
  • Lead automation projects from concept through deployment and production support.
  • Design and implement machine vision inspection systems and AI-enabled manufacturing solutions.
  • Perform safety risk assessments for automation and ensure compliance.
  • Evaluate and justify capital expenditures for automation projects.

The role will provide engineering support to manufacturing and will identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement new assembly methods to improve product quality and cost.

  • Assist Engineering, Automation, Robotics, and Manufacturing Technology projects.
  • Provide training to maintenance technicians on automated equipment, robotics systems, controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report equipment performance, robot utilization, and automation effectiveness while initiating continuous improvement activities.
  • Develop new model assembly processes for products, incorporating automation and robotic solutions where practical.
  • Develop equipment, robotic cell, fixture, vision system, and jig specifications for products.
  • Assist with new model process development for more complex products involving robotics and automated manufacturing systems.
  • Create and maintain new model project schedules and ensure accurate project tracking.
  • Ensure a smooth transition of new models from Engineering to Manufacturing.
  • Design, build, integrate, and commission medium-complexity machines, robotic work cells, fixtures, and automation systems for new and existing models.
  • Review new model development drawings, identify automation opportunities, develop cost estimations, improve manufacturability, and address quality concerns to ensure competitive and high-quality products.
  • Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, robot, motion control, and automation programs for existing and new equipment.
  • Create or modify all required engineering documentation, automation standards, robotics procedures, and PE-1 documentation to ensure ISO compliance and maintain certification.
  • Evaluate emerging automation technologies and recommend solutions that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
  • Support manufacturing by leading root cause analysis, problem-solving activities, automation improvements, and machine efficiency initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering.
  • 4–7 years of experiencein Manufacturing environment.
