Job summary

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to fill a 1st Shift opening with a Tier 1 company located new Grand Rapids, MI. The ideal candidates should have hands‑on experience in Process Engineering and Lean.

Requirements of the Process Engineer

• Experience with tools such as PFMEA, Control Plans, 5S
• Ability to work unsupervised on assigned project list and complete projects on schedule.
• Experience working with robotics / industrial automation equipment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of automotive customer and their requirements

Responsibilities of the Process Engineer

• Analyze all quality results (scrap and dimensional) and developing corrective actions.
• Prepares and presents periodic progress reports, and develops action plan to address identified issues.
• Reports periodically on program status to plant and management.
• Work directly with customer to optimize design.
• Communicate simulation/process results with customers and management
