Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or related experience.
• Hands-on mindset with proven track record on production lines and measurable improvements.
• Able to adapt quickly and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including production, quality, and maintenance.
• Experience using Lean techniques, process mapping, FMEA, and root cause analysis to solve problems.
• Capable of leading projects in a fast-moving continuous-improvement culture.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for safety, quality, delivery, and cost on an assigned assembly line area.
• Spend most of your time on the production floor examining equipment and processes to find improvements.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance to troubleshoot and optimize equipment performance.
• Implement process changes, update operation standards, and use Lean methods to improve production.
• Conduct capability and time studies, specify tools/fixtures, and participate in Kaizen events.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance of an assigned assembly line area.
• Spend the majority of your time on the production floor, actively examining equipment, processes, and operations to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency.
• Implement process changes, modify operation standards, and utilize Lean manufacturing techniques to optimize production.
• Conduct capability and time studies, specify tools and fixtures, and participate in Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement.
