Job summary

Sira Consulting, an Inc 5000 company, seeks a results-driven engineer to optimize material layout and flow, read engineering drawings, and study time/motion to improve production rates and efficiency. The role requires hands-on use of AutoCAD, Vismockup, and VisJack, plus PFMEA experience and cross-functional collaboration.

The incumbent will implement changes to boost overall performance, look for ergonomic improvements with the EHS team, and communicate project details clearly to leadership

Qualifications

• Optimize material layout and flow within production areas.
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Study time, motion, and methods to establish standard production rate and improve efficiency.
• Experience using AutoCAD, Vismockup, VisJack.
• PFMEA experience is preferred.
• Coordinate with Material Logistics, Quality, Production, Maintenance stakeholders.
• Implement changes to improve overall performance.
• Identify ergonomic improvements with EHS team and design improved processes/equipment.
• Communicate project details clearly to leaders.

• Study time, motion, and methods to establish standard production rate and improve efficiency.
• Experience in using AutoCAD, Vismockup, VisJack
• Potential failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
• Experience in working with stakeholders like Material Logistics, Quality, Production, Maintenance, etc.
• Implement changes to improve overall performance.
• look for ergonomic improvements and work with EHS team to design improved processes and / or equipment (examples include adding lift or tilt tables, hoists, and conveyor).
• Need to communicate (verbal, written, & ppt documents) project details clearly and concisely to leaders.
