JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Provide first responder support to Operations for the Lower Powertrain (LPT) Assembly Manufacturing Engineering team.
  2. Work on a team of manufacturing system subject matter experts, line manufacturing engineers, and another first responder.
  3. Create and maintain standard work, process visual aids, process flow diagrams.
  4. Create and maintain PFMEAs.
  5. Create and maintain Control Plans.
  6. Provide assembly line support for identifying root causes and corrective actions.
  7. Review and work assign Continuous Improvement tasks.
  8. Create purchase requisitions.
  9. Create Tool Orders.
  10. Create Request for Estimates.
  11. Create safe job procedures.
  12. Perform time studies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering required with 2+ years of experience required. OR
  2. Master's degree in engineering required with 1+ years of experience required. OR
  3. Master's degree in engineering required with no experience. OR
  4. Associate's degree in engineering required with 5+ years of experience required. OR
  5. HS Diploma with 8+ years of experience required.
  6. Ability to make sketches and engineering drawings.
  7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
  8. Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design.
  9. Must be a Strong communicator.
  10. Creativity skills.
  11. Must be a Team player and Detail oriented.
  12. Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. PINpoint programming.
  2. Classes, training, or experience working with PLCs.
  3. Robot programming.
  4. Integration of automation equipment.
  5. Willing to take initiative and drive to help others.
