Job summary

Image Associates Inc. in Dallas, TX seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to coordinate activities across system fabrication, tooling, welding, robotics and mechanical assembly.

You will provide engineering support to improve product quality and reduce production costs while ensuring safe, efficient operations. Responsibilities include developing work instructions, designing assembly fixtures, tooling and manufacturing equipment, and promoting lean practices, time standards and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Three years’ manufacturing engineering experience, preferably with fabricated or assembled products made of steel or steel parts.
• Experience working in an automated environment.
• Experience setting time standards, lean manufacturing, line balancing, and process flow.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities including system fabrication, tooling, welding, robotics and mechanical assembly.
• Provide engineering support to improve product quality and reduce production costs.
• Develop work instructions, designs assembly fixtures, tooling and manufacturing equipment.
• Develop safe work practices and seek opportunities for improvements in product and process quality.
• Work with employees to resolve problems and avoid grievances.
