FORGING EXPERIENCE IS A MUST. Only apply if you have hands-on forging experience. We are looking for candidates with 3 to 4 years of real experience, not fresh master’s graduates or interns.

RESUME SHOULD emphasize forging experience

Plan and perform engineering work in developing and/or improving products, processes, equipment, and quality. Assignments will involve a variety of production challenges and require the use of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Develops clear and specific objectives for given assignments. Effectively participates in a team setting to achieve results. Develops a product knowledge expertise for the assigned area of responsibility

Responsibilities

Implements and optimizes manufacturing techniques, processes, and tooling to maximize efficiency and reduce cost
Assist in the resolution of issues in manufacturing
Participates in the adoption of new technologies and processes to achieve greater efficiency
Works with cross-functional teams to accomplish production targets
Meets production requirements by designing equipment and/or tooling modifications as needed
Initiate and control cost reduction projects to achieve targets
Works with project personnel to ensure the smooth implementation of process development work into plant operations
Communicates progress through management updates and team meetings
