Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in a Controls Engineering role within the automotive industry
• Proficiency in control system design, including component selection, power distribution, network architecture diagrams, electrical schematics, and documentation of sequences and requirements
• Detailed knowledge of Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC, HMI, IO, Drives hardware and software
• Proficiency in programming PLCs using Ladder Logic, Function Block, and Structured Text
• Proficiency in Ignition SCADA software, including scripting, database connections, and enterprise administration
