Amsted Rail is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes that drive efficiency, quality, and safety in a high-performance environment. The role focuses on improving production methods, layouts, and tooling to ensure seamless, cost-effective production of critical components.
The ideal candidate has a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree with 1–3 years in manufacturing, strong machine design skills, and NC/CNC exposure.

The Manufacturing Engineer will design, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes that drive efficiency, quality, and innovation, ensuring the seamless production of high-performance products in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. Work with the elements of new and existing manufacturing processes and equipment with the purpose of improving the safety, cost, quality, and delivery of manufactured products.
Must have full range of body motion. Certain operations require repetitive bending, squatting, and full arm extension. Manual lifting, not exceeding fifty (50) pounds, may be required. Able to visit various manufacturing environments.
