Responsibilities

  • Support selection and troubleshooting of production equipment.
  • Evaluate quality control processes to recommend improvements.
  • Research automation techniques and new manufacturing technologies.
  • Support selection, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment, including robotic systems.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance to meet procedures and standards.
  • Plan factory layouts and equipment placement to optimize flow.
  • Evaluate quality control processes and recommend improvements.
  • Design and implement testing methods for reliability.
  • Review labor, material, and production costs for decision-making.
  • Monitor production data and efficiency metrics for opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Prepare reports and provide data-driven insights for planning.
  • Collaborate with design, quality, maintenance, and production teams on NPI.
  • Provide engineering support by answering technical questions and requests.
  • Train technicians and production personnel on new processes and equipment.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and manufacturing databases.
  • Maintain knowledge through training and industry best practices.

Manufacturing Engineer/Manufacturing Process Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer/Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, evaluating, and continuously improving manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment to ensure efficient, high-quality, and compliant production operations. This role plays a critical part in optimizing workflows, supporting automation initiatives, managing production costs, and collaborating cross-functionally to support both current manufacturing operations and future growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Analyze production workflows, methods, schedules, and space utilization to optimize manufacturing performance.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve throughput.
  • Design and support tooling, fixtures, and process improvements.
  • Research and evaluate automation techniques and new manufacturing technologies.
  • Support selection, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment, including automated and robotic systems.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services to ensure compliance with manufacturer procedures and operational standards.
  • Support planning of factory layouts and equipment placement to optimize production flow.
  • Evaluate quality control processes and recommend improvements to enhance product and process quality.
  • Design and implement testing methods to ensure product and process reliability.
  • Review and calculate labor, material, and production costs to support management decision-making.
  • Monitor production data, efficiency metrics, and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with all applicable government laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing manufacturing data and performance trends.
  • Provide management with data-driven insights to support future production planning and resource requirements.
  • Work closely with design, quality, maintenance, and production teams on new product introductions (NPI).
  • Provide manufacturing engineering support by responding to technical questions and operational requests.
  • Train and guide technicians and production personnel on new processes, equipment, and procedures.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, process instructions, and manufacturing databases.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing training, workshops, and industry best practices.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)
  • Manufacturing or process engineering experience preferred (level dependent on experience)
  • CAD software proficiency.
  • Familiarity with automation systems and manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience in process optimization and workflow analysis.
  • Strong ability in statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
