Job summary

CEPA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to bridge customer requirements with the production floor. You will review customer drawings, build accurate BOMs and labor plans, and ensure technicians have clear instructions, tooling, and up-to-date travelers for each job.

This hands-on role works with Production, Sales, Quality, and customers on the floor to support expedited jobs and improve quality, cost, and delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or technical certificate preferred.
• 4+ years in Cable/Harness or RF assembly in an engineering role.
• Experience in AS9100 or ISO 9001 environments preferred.
• Aerospace/defense or high-reliability manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and vet material summary sheet during quote accuracy.
• Create internal BOMs derived from customer documentation meeting requirements.
• Develop detailed labor plans to support production workflow.
• Review customer drawings for risk and interpret notes for production.
• Identify tooling needs and procure them to meet requirements.
• Process ECOs and ECO-related documentation and change orders.
