Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in engineering or closely related field
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing
• Hands-on manufacturing experience from a job, internship, or project

Responsibilities

• Support and promote a strong safety culture.
• Troubleshoot issues within the manufacturing facility using root cause analysis tools to identify the source and provide corrective solutions
• Collaborate within the team and across departments on projects from inception to completion
• Design Tooling, Jigs, Fixtures, and Facilities Equipment utilizing SolidWorks
• Identify and facilitate implementation of process improvements
• Determine specifications and initiate the purchase of materials and components
• Develop best practices and procedures; communicate these to employees through Visual Workplace, formal training, and area meetings
• Coordinate and communicate with all levels of the organization (formal and informal presentations)
