Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Lead ET is responsible for leading and supporting all on-shift ETs, crews, and support personnel to resolve maintenance issues impacting plant performance. This includes leading, training, scheduling, staging materials, and providing daily guidance on problem solving, troubleshooting, PMs, and project work. The Lead ET acts as the SPA for housekeeping, safety, quality, and performance within the ET group. They document project listings, develop priorities, manage deadlines, and assist ETs with issues. The role involves responding promptly to onsite equipment problems, troubleshooting, performing maintenance, conducting root cause investigations, interpreting data, and leading repair efforts. The incumbent will analyze data to determine countermeasures and develop standardized work, driving continuous improvement through TPM principles.

Additional responsibilities include:
1. Managing daily tasks of Day ETs via spreadsheets and communication
2. Providing leadership for projects involving Day ETs
3. Participating in Daily Management meetings
4. Assisting in Electrical Safety Program audits and implementation
5. Identifying skill gaps and developing training
6. Maintaining SPA roles for inkjet and laser promo processes
7. Improving electrical spare parts management
8. Supporting Automation and Intravis functions

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Educational and Skill Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5-7 years in maintenance, preferably electrical
- Formal training in Electricity (minimum two-year degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience)
- Exposure to machinery and processes
- Commitment to safety and housekeeping
- Aptitude for technical processes and troubleshooting
- Flexibility for schedule changes
- Leadership qualities and self-motivation
- Ability to read engineering drawings and communicate technically
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Teaching and problem-solving skills
- Computer skills: NFI, Excel, Word

Work Shift: 12-hour shift with occasional overtime

PPE: Safety shoes, hearing and eye protection, gloves, protective clothing, hard hat, face shield, goggles, lanyard, harness, and other PPE as required

Tools and Equipment: Hand, power, pneumatic tools, mobile equipment, ultrasonic cleaners, grease guns, aerosol cans, spray bottles, vice grips, gauges, drills, hoists, compressors, chillers, grinding/vacuum equipment, writing tools, computers, calipers, micrometers, multimeters, soldering tools
