Each day, you will ensure the smooth operation and efficiency of equipment and systems. You will also showcase your expertise by conducting specialized work assignments as part of the production processes.The work model for the role is: onsite, Auburn Hills, MI.Roles and responsibilities:You will be mainly accountable for:Executing the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.Performing regular quality testing of the equipment, if needed, as part of a defined production process and troubleshooting and reporting issues, if any.Ensuring the availability of required materials to execute the assigned work according to the defined workflow.Taking responsibility for the proper operation and daily maintenance of equipment in use and addressing any malfunctions to maintain production schedules.Qualifications for the role:High School Diploma is required.Minimum of 5 years of relatable experience.Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics to interpret the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels is required.Performing regular quality testing of the equipment, troubleshoot, and report any issues as needed.Responsible for the proper operation and daily maintenance of equipment in use and address any malfunctions to maintain production schedules.Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical assembly.Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms.Competencies needed: strong organizational skills, attention to detail, technical aptitude, problem solving, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.We value people from different backgrounds.
