Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a 12-month, on-site assignment in Georgetown, KY. The role requires 3+ years of manufacturing and project management experience to support electrical engineering projects with potential extension and international travel to Canada and Mexico.

Responsibilities include evaluating power systems, reviewing drawings, negotiating scope changes, and ensuring safety code compliance across facilities.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent with 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years project management experience.
• 2+ years industrial power distribution/system design experience.
• Experience developing bid specifications and negotiating with contractors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Investigate project feasibility, scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop scope of work, bid packages, and project specifications.
• Review technical and electrical drawings and negotiate design or scope changes.
• Evaluate electrical power systems, power distribution, breaker sizing, amp draw, SCCR, and panel loading.
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical and safety codes.
• Coordinate with Safety Compliance Contractors, skilled trades, engineers, equipment manufacturers, and affiliate companies.
• Specify and confirm electrical components for industrial equipment.
• Supervise contractors in greenfield and brownfield environments.
• Coordinate equipment installation and develop countermeasures for project delays.
• Support project execution and ensure project milestones are met.
