Job summary

Menk-USA, LLC is seeking a motivated Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Technician to ensure daily compliance with EHS standards across manufacturing areas. Reporting to the Quality/Safety Leader, you will audit equipment, conduct 5S, review training, and verify corrective actions to maintain a safe, healthy workplace.

You will participate in safety meetings, support incident investigations, respond to emergencies, and track metrics such as OSHA recordables and permit compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of EHS experience or equivalent education.
• Experience auditing operational environments and understanding high-risk safety requirements.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and general industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Audit equipment and tasks for EHS compliance (LOTO, dust, cranes, guarding, confined spaces, electrical, and powered industrial trucks).
• Conduct 5S audits to promote safe, organized work areas.
• Review roles related to EHS compliance.
• Verify corrective actions from audits and training completions.
• Review and approve high-risk work authorizations.
• Support toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain audit documentation.
• Track audit findings and compliance metrics.
