Job summary

Our client in Irvine, CA is seeking an EHS Specialist to join the Environmental Compliance Department. The role supports the Safety and Regulatory team with a focus on environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance in manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, with preferred advanced degree in EHS or related field and experience in a manufacturing setting. Strong communication and MS Office skills are important.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Associates or Bachelors degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or related field preferred
• Experience in environmental compliance or regulatory analysis within a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and reporting requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret environmental regulations to ensure compliance across manufacturing operations
• Assist in preparing and submitting environmental reports and documentation
• Support the development and implementation of environmental policies and procedures
• Conduct environmental assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards
