Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an EHS Engineer – Manufacturing Process Specialist to partner with site teams to drive engineered safety and ergonomic improvements across manufacturing operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety (or equivalent hands‑on manufacturing engineering experience)
• 2+ years of Safety experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience implementing engineered safety solutions across processes, tooling, or ergonomics
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with production, maintenance, engineering, and EHS teams
• Strong problem‑solving and project execution skills on the shop floor

Responsibilities

• Drive engineered safety and ergonomic improvements across manufacturing operations
• Serve as EHS engineering authority for process, equipment, and ergonomic risk reduction
• Conduct job hazard analyses, risk assessments, and ergonomic evaluations
• Leverage data and AI‑based risk platforms to detect trends and high‑exposure tasks
• Lead safety‑driven engineering projects from concept to installation and sustainment
• Develop technical requirements and evaluate equipment and vendor solutions
• Embed safety‑by‑design and human factors in new equipment startups
• Track effectiveness of engineered controls using EHS metrics
