Job summary

MAU Workforce Solutions is hiring an Environmental Health & Safety Manager for our Conway, SC client. Lead EH&S programs across manufacturing operations, driving regulatory compliance and a strong safety culture while supporting continuous improvement. This is a direct-hire opportunity with on-site responsibilities and occasional travel.

Required: 5+ years in manufacturing safety leadership, knowledge of workers' compensation processes, and ability to deploy behavioral safety programs. U.S.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in industrial manufacturing safety leadership.
• 5+ years leading Health, Safety, and Environmental functions in manufacturing.
• Experience resolving workers' compensation cases.
• Ability to deploy behavioral safety programs.
• Willingness to relocate within 30 minutes of the plant for on-call support.
• U.S. Person per ITAR/EAR requirements with proof of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management and technical leadership for EH&S programs at the Conway, SC facility.
• Oversee EH&S support for multiple facilities and provide guidance to overseas teams.
• Develop, recommend, and implement EH&S solutions that align with business strategy and regulatory compliance.
• Lead accident, incident, and injury investigations and report findings.
• Develop and deliver EH&S training to employees and managers.
• Lead monthly safety meetings and Safety Committee activities.
• Coordinate stormwater, air permitting, and hazardous materials compliance tasks.
• Partner with maintenance for PPE, security, and site safety improvements.
