Job summary

Image Associates Inc. is seeking a Safety and Environmental Compliance Manager to develop and maintain a comprehensive program in a manufacturing setting. You will work with plant supervisors, HR, and leadership to reduce accidents and standardize safety practices.

The role includes performing hazard analyses, training program development, and managing regulatory compliance with OSHA/EPA standards. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate in Northern Iowa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety and Health, Engineering, or similar required.
• 3–5 years of experience in a safety management position in manufacturing.
• Broad knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state/local safety and environmental requirements.
• Knowledge of metal forming and shaping machinery, with understanding of machine guarding, electrical safety, and lock-out/tag-out.

Responsibilities

• Perform or coordinate job hazard analyses for manufacturing operations.
• Develop an employee training program focused on safety.
• Implement accident prevention and injury prevention processes and procedures.
• Maintain a comprehensive safety program for a manufacturing plant, including emergency preparedness.
• Participate in safety audits.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain employee injury records.
