Job summary

PepsiCo Deutschland GmbH seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator to establish and deliver facility-specific EHS plans that align with the company’s overall EHS objectives. This role reports to the Site EHS Manager and focuses on risk management, incident investigation, training, and program development at the site.

The successful candidate will lead EHS initiatives, engage site teams, and implement prevention programs to improve EHS strategy and execution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Environmental, EHS, or food manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and FDA regulations.
• Experience supporting environmental compliance, programs, or improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with site leadership and frontline associates.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and computer-based systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet daily deadlines.
• EHS or environmental certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement, execute, & ensure compliance with PepsiCo’s Environmental, Health and Safety policies, procedures, and tasks.
• Support execution of the site’s annual EHS Plan.
• Work with site Management to support implementation of EHS programs.
• Identify and evaluate hazards (risks) and implement effective controls (corrective solutions).
• Support & Lead incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and identification of corrective action plans.
• Facilitate and support the completion of a site wide annual EHS training plan.
• Lead and support site EHS Committees.
• Support/Conduct both internal and external audits when they occur.
• Manage and utilize EHS systems such as Ventiv, myEHS, Power BI, Schoox, etc… as applicable.
• Conduct and assist in GEHSMS program reviews with EHS program owners/teams.
• Manage 3rd party vendors as applicable.
• Management of EHS Records.
• Capable of working off shift hours as required.
• Conduct on the floor EHS inspections and observations.
